		<description>Bill, the post was addressed at people that are producing material AHEAD of mastering.  The idea being to leave headroom FOR the mastering (or on air processing)...let *it* do the work of sonic maximization.  =)</description>

		<description>I noticed your comments on audio compression.  I&#039;m a nasty purist, and *really* object to it.  I primarily do classical music, and hearing radio stations that leave the music with 5 or 10 db of total dynamic range disgusts me.  I know that is the norm for the current &#039;pop&#039; flavors - be it rap or whatever.  Having a reasonable amount of dynamic range makes the sound more listenable and understandable.. as opposed to just deafening.</description>
